Remember that three month oil spill that happened in 2010?

Remember how BP oil totally passed the buck on that one?

And how it was estimated that the damage was around $40 billion dollars?

But no one has ever paid anywhere near that amount for the damage they caused probably because they paid a lesser amount to get the media and governments to shut up about it?

Remember how its on the news all the time that it actually still has a bit of leak and it will be 40 years before we see the full extent (beyond the huge amount of damage already seen) of the damage they’ve caused by drilling so ridiculously fucking deep for oil?

Yeah. That’s because it’s not talked about by the media anymore. Ever. Despite how much its destroyed the environment. Despite the people that died on that rig. But. You know. It’s whatever because most of the people that are at fault for the whole situation will be dead in 40 years. Why should they have to clean up their own fuck ups? That’s what our generation and the next few generations are for.
